This year’s select a gift event had 93 families registered. Around 300 gifts were donated by generous folks of Custer along with $1800 in monetary donations which was used to buy additional gifts to fill in where needed. Each child was also given a box of candy canes donated by customers from Family Dollar store. This was a big hit!

Over 60 volunteers helped make the event successful. From the 5 member organizational committee to those who hauled gifts into the gym and helped turn it into Santa’s workshop filled with presents to those who helped the families chose gifts and wrap them up, it was an amazing and joyous community offering. Thanks to all.

Also thanks to the churches and businesses who hosted gift trees.
