Spearfish, SD – The Black Hills State University Music Department’s faculty and students will host “Holiday Revels at Roma’s” an evening of holiday music, food and wine Sunday, Dec. 3 at Roma’s Ristorante in Spearfish. The money raised by this fundraiser will directly benefit student scholarships for the BHSU Music Department. Reservations are required to attend.
Attendees will enjoy holiday music played by the students and faculty and can choose to enjoy a wine and cheese tasting, dinner, or both.
Wine and cheese tasting: $20
Both wine and cheese tasting and dinner: $65
Those enjoying dinner can choose from lasagna, grilled salmon, or chicken or eggplant parmesan.
The wine and cheese tasting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. and dinner will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Roma’s Ristorante is located at 2281 E. Colorado Blvd in Spearfish.
According to Dr. David Berberick, assistant professor of music, this event will be a unique way to support the BHSU music students. “We will be showcasing small groups that are formed specifically for the Holiday Revels event,” said Berberick. “Some of the music performed will only be heard at this event.”
BHSU is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music and offers students a variety of opportunities to study music within the context of a broad liberal arts education.
