URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

849 AM MST WED FEB 1 2017

.SNOW WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH AND SHIFT SOUTH LATE THIS MORNING...
LINGERING OVER FAR SOUTHWEST SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS
OF NORTHEAST WYOMING THIS AFTERNOON. ANOTHER STRONG DISTURBANCE
WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION LATE TONIGHT AND SUPPORT INCREASING SNOW
CHANCES OVER THE AREA THURSDAY. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BE HEAVY AT
TIMES THURSDAY... ESPECIALLY OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN BLACK
HILLS...WHERE 6 TO 12 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL WILL BE
POSSIBLE. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE
OVER PORTIONS OF WESTON COUNTY IN WYOMING AND ON THE SOUTHWEST
SOUTH DAKOTA PLAINS THURSDAY. LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR
LOCAL MEDIA FOR THE LATEST WEATHER UPDATES.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE, DIMINISHING LATE THIS MORNING AND
  EARLY AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL RE-DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
  THURSDAY...BECOMING HEAVY AT TIMES THURSDAY.

* MAIN IMPACT...1 TO 2 ADDITIONAL INCHES OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED
  THROUGH NOON. ANOTHER 6 TO 12 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE
  TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY WITH THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM. AMOUNTS WILL
  VARY GREATLY.

* OTHER IMPACTS...SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS WILL
  OCCUR. TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES.
