19th Annual Mickelson Trail Trek Photos – Friday September 16, 2016

The Trail Trek is a staggered ride with bikers leaving as early as 7:00 am. Some, sleep late, others go eat breakfast before riding. There is no sign of urgency. The ride is pure pleasure for most, although some will feel “the burn” as the day wears on.

Friday
Check -8-9AM Start: Bicycle from Custer to Edgemont (44.5 miles)
– Riders and bikes return to Custer

Saturday
-8:00 – 9:00 AM Start: Bicycle from Custer to Rochford (39.5 miles)
-Bicycles stored in secured area in Rochford
-Shuttle busses return riders to Custer

Sunday
-Riders drive to Deadwood Trailhead
-Shuttle buses take riders to Rochford
7:00-9AM Start: Bicycle from Rochford to Deadwood (24 miles)
-Ride ends in Deadwood where participant’s vehicles are parked
